Escape the modern day stresses with an off grid stay in our luxury shepherds hut. Perfect as a couples retreat or a solo escape. Located in a secluded paddock with the occasional sheep as your neighbour. Take in the views across Exmoor and the estate. Relax in the Naked Flame woodfired eco hot tub with a glass of something you fancy. Sit around the Firepit and take in the night sky. Light the wood burner and cozy up in the handmade Organic Naturalmat bed.

Arriving at Woolhanger View, parking for the Shepherds hut is just off the main lane. Park up and take the short walk on the gravelled path across the paddock to the hut. A wheelbarrow will be provided to help take your things across.

Inside you will find 2 comfortable leather arm chairs to enjoy the stunning views with your morning cuppa.
A small kitchen area with room to prepare your food, with a Belfast sink with hot and cold water. A perfectly sized wood burner will be ready to light which is the heating for the hut.
Snuggle up in the bespoke made, comfy Naturalmat bed with linen and towels provided.

Outside you will find the wet room style bathroom. With a hot shower, hot and cold water from the basin and a toilet.

The Naked Flame eco hot tub will be filled with water for you. The heating for this is wood fired. We will leave the fire ready to light with a match.

Enjoy a BBQ with the swing arm BBQ rack on the fire pit. Sit back and take in the views of Butterhill on the comfy outdoor furniture.

The log store will be fully stocked so you will have plenty of logs for your stay to use in the wood burner, hot tub and fire pit.

The power for our shepherds hut comes from a 12v power supply. We have a USB & USB-C charging point in the hut. Unfortunately we do not have the facilities for 240v appliances such as hairdryers and hair straighteners.
Our hot water comes from gas bottles.

A camping stove will be provided with butane cartridges for you to use during your stay.

Mobile phone coverage varies depending on which network you are with but signal should be obtained around the hut.

Please note we do not have an electric oven, hob & fridge. A cooler box will be provided for your stay to help keep your food cool.
